We were playing preview clips of songs in a popup window (for various technical reasons), but I've just replaced this whole scheme with a spiffy new flash player. You can see it all over the site, try it! Very nifty! By the way, we just hit 100,000 plays of preview clips on the website since our launch last August. How cool is that?! acaTunes http://www.acatunes.com/ <B>Changes to Album View and Search Pages</B><BR>We're making lots of changes and enhancements to the pages on the website. We've just made some big changes to the Album View page and to the Search page. It might not look too different on the Album View page, but there's a lot going on in the background that has changed. The first thing you might notice is that the Album View page loads a bit faster than before (techie explanation: we've switched from Prototype/Scriptaculous to the slimmer jQuery for our AJAX calls). We've also gotten rid of the popup window needed for playing Preview Clips. <BR><BR> The Search Page has been changed a bit too. You can now see some cool lists that are generated on the fly, based on information in our catalog. Click on one of the links in a list to see the search results of that link. Pretty neat stuff, eh? <BR><BR> All of these changes have been made to get ready for some really big changes coming in the next week or so.
