Juxtaposition is an entirely student-run organization whose goal is to create, record, and perform harmonious vocal symphonies, instilling a state of euphoric bliss in our audiences. They pride themselves on technical, complex, and unique arrangements, focused on maintaining superior live performances, while still producing professional recorded albums. Established in 1994 by student Mark Cirnigliaro, the name "Juxtaposition" was adopted. It means, "setting side by side," which coincidentally describes the nature of ourperformances. Juxtaposition has performed many concerts each year on Virginia Tech's campus and has traveled across the globe to share its talents.
