The acaTunes Awards recognize the very best in collegiate a cappella recordings. Fifteen tracks are selected by the acaTunes staff, which are released as a special virtual compilation that fans can purchase digitally, as a whole or as individual tracks. Unlike physical compilation projects, artists are not required to "buy in" to cover production costs, because there aren't any! If you are a winner, your track is sold on the compilation, and you get paid for the sales!

| Number of Winning Tracks: | 15 |
| Track Eligibility: | Tracks must be released between December 1st, 2006 and November 1st, 2007. Whole albums or single tracks produced by college groups only are eligible for consideration. If an album is already available on acaTunes, and was released during the eligibility period, there is no need to re-submit. Your album is already entered into the competition. Tracks of cover songs must be declared by the artist to be properly licensed. |
| Prize Details: |  Each winning group will receive:
- An engraved acaTunes Silver Microphone Trophy
- A personalized acaTunes Awards Winner icon for the group's website/MySpace/Facebook
- A featured artist ad on the acaTunes homepage
- Selected winners will be featured in future episodes of the Acappella U podcast
