Three years in the making, this twelve-song monstrosity takes a cappella funk to a new level. From the NutraSweet grooves of "The Way It Makes Me Feel" and "Express Yourself" to the finely-hued textures of "Crazy Maze" and "Saturnalia Smile", this is one big messy twelve-song Specialty's Sandwich of the Funk. Special bonus tracks: "The Star-Spangled Banner" and the one and only "Kashmir."

"When people talk about a cappella breaking into the mainstream and deserving respect as a significant musical phenomenon, this album is what they're talking about. This is hard-hitting a cappella. This is music that _grooves_. This is music that's sexy, powerful, and impressive, and shows that a cappella isn't a novelty, it's a vehicle for making some seriously good shit. The Way It Makes Me Feel and Completely are highlights of the album - gems across the board from songwriting to solo, and the hook on Let's Get To It will stay in your head for days. Kashmir is haunting, and the insane lyrics on Slide will make your head spin you like that, don't you? You might think that the national anthem wouldn't have a place on a decidedly Rock/R&B album, but you'd be wrong. This arrangement succeeds where most pop takes on the original fail, due in no small part to the other-worldly drum track supplied by master jedi Andew Chaikin. I've never heard a better example of genuine contemporary a cappella music."
