Founded at some point between 1987 and 1989 the cornerstone is a little smudged, MadAve was the first ever acappella group at Drew University , and remains – nineteen or seventeen years later – arguably the oldest acappella group on campus. As a part of Drew's now thriving acappella community, they host at least three concerts a year, including Jamfest, the largest acappella concert on Drew's campus and one of the largest – and certainly the single most rocking – events of the year.
